Trade Show Booth Promoting Disaster Recovery Solutions Attracts Attention

On January 27-28, 2009, Corporate Network Services was exhibiting at the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) Technology Conference at the Washington DC Convention Center. Thousands of IT managers and web administrators from associations and non-profits were there for the two-day show. Lunch was served in the exhibit hall area, and the CNS booth was right on a corner next to the buffet line. We were promoting our Continuity Centre solution as the perfect replacement for back up tapes, because back up tapes fail 71% of the time, according to the Gartner Group. Instead of a traditional (boring) technology booth, attendees got to look at our staged “disaster,” complete with broken furniture, smashed ceiling tile, and two small fires burning. People were stopping by just to take pictures! Of course this was a terrific opportunity to talk to them about our disaster recovery services. A journalist from Bisnow also stopped by to interview us and we were published in this newsletter.
