12/11 — CEO Karen Kalantzis participates in a national convening sponsored by The Trust for American’s Health to discuss public policy for corporate wellness programs for small businesses.
11/11 —Corporate Network Services’ client, the Army’s Medical Communications for Combat Casualty Care (MC4) program, was named the 2011 top information technology (IT) team by the Association of Military Surgeons of the United States (AMSUS). The AMSUS IT Team Award honors organizations that have made significant contributions in IT, specifically those that improve the effectiveness and cohesiveness of federal health care initiatives. 10/11 — New web site is revealed to provide members of the NIH community with information about the CIOSP3 contract, of which Corporate Network Services is a leader in the contracting team, CIOSP Enterprise Solutions.
8/11 — Corporate Network Services earns spot on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing companies, with its best ranking yet, for the third year in a row.
8/11 — Jason Tierney, VP of New Product Development at Corporate Network Services, was named to the mspMentor 250 list, a list of the world’s top managed services experts, executives, and community leaders, for the third year in a row.
8/11 — Corporate Network Services is named a Top 40 Healthiest Employer in Greater Washington for 2011 by the Washington Business Journal. Check out the entire list of winners here.
7/11 — Corporate Network Services’ employee, Leann Micheals, was hand picked to represent the MC4 program and travel overseas with Major General Patricia Horoho, who was recently nominated to be the next Surgeon General of the Army.
7/11 — Congratulations to three Corporate Network Services employees for earning their 5 Year Service Award at the company’s recent Quarterly Meeting: Chuck Melton, Biran Su, and Rosemond Barnor. At the meeting the company also rolled out our new wellness program, Your Wellness Counts.
6/11 — Corporate Network Services is featured in the Washington Post’s Capital Business section for Monday, June 13 in an article called, “Getting Creative with Employee Perks.” It sites our annual Holiday Weigh In Contest which is part of our wellness program. Read about it here!
6/11 — Corporate Network Services’ business partner, Westerly Enterprises, earns verification as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business by the Department of Veteran’s Affairs.

2/11 — Corporate Network Services CEO Karen Kalantzis joins the speakers panel of women business owners at the Women’s Success Summit featuring eWomanNetwork CEO Sandra Yancey. When asked about a key to success, Karen advised the women in attendance to, “put on blinders and stay focused on your target market.”
1/11 — Corporate Network Services earns prestigious competencies in Microsoft Partner Network Program: Gold for Server Platform and Silver for Desktop and Midmarket Solutions.

10/10 — CNS Debuts Custom Database Solution for Preservationists
9/10 — Corporate Network Services earns 7th place in the Gazette of Politics and Business Exceptional 53 Awards, which recognizes top Maryland companies for revenue, innovation, and community service.
8/10 — CNS is named to the 2010 Inc. 5000 list for the second year in a row

7/10 — Washington DC Fox 5 broadcast its morning show in Poolesville as part of their Hometown Friday special. Corporate Network Services employees proudly waved a CNS banner and earned some camera time! Visit the Fox web site for the video links.
6/10 — Corporate Network Services launches new web site, making it easier for visitors to find technology information and engage with the company.
5/10 — The Alliance for Workplace Excellence of Montgomery County, MD names Corporate Network Services to all 3 of their award categories: Workplace Excellence Seal of Approval, Eco-Leader, and Health and Wellness Trailblazer. We are the only under-50 -employee business to have won all three.
5/10 — Anvil Dataworks, a division of Corporate Network Services, reports that their entire development team has passed the FileMaker certification exam and are all Certified FileMaker Developers, making them among the largest certified groups in the United States.
5/10 — Brenda Sneed, President of Corporate Network Services, is nominated for the 2010 Human Resource Leadership Award of Greater Washington, and will be honored at the awards gala on June 15. Jason Tierney, CNS Vice President, and his ConnectWise implementation team were also nominated for an award in the Implementation category.
4/10 — Two FileMaker developers from Anvil Dataworks, a division of Corporate Network Services, announce they passed the beta exam for FileMaker 11 Certification, making them among the first in the country to become Certified FileMaker 11 Developers.
4/10 — William “Woody” Hume joins Corporate Network Services as Director of Sales, bringing with him over 20 years experience in sales with leading companies such as Adobe and Apple.
2/10 — CNS earns coveted spot on 2010 MSPmentor 100 list.
12/09 — Entire Corporate Network Services management and executive team passes exam from the MSP Alliance to become Certified Managed Services Professionals, including Marshall Micheals, Jason Tierney, Brenda Sneed, and Karen Kalantzis.
12/09 — CNS’ Government Solutions Group donates maximum allowable to a military family based out of Ft. Detrick, MD through Operation Happy Holliday (OHH). OHH helped 92 families this year in total.

6/09 — Corporate Network Services FileMaker developers Wayman Ka, Sameer Khan, and Biran Su are among the first to pass the difficult FileMaker 10 certification exam!
6/09 — The FileMaker 10 Certification Exam is now available from FileMaker. FileMaker developers can prepare for the exam by taking CNS’s FileMaker Training Series class being offered June 15 – 18 and September 22 -25, or by taking our one-on-one Boot Camp Training session.
4/09 — The Alliance for Workplace Excellence awards Corporate Network Services with its Eco-Leadership award in its first year and its Best Place to Work Award for the fourth year in a row.
4/09 — FileMaker Advisor magazine will feature an article about dashboarding written by Corporate Network Services Developer Charles Melton.
4/09 — Corporate Network Services customer, The Resource Network, and CNS are featured in a case study from DataDirect Technologies called “Achieving Connectivity in the Cloud.” It is about tying together diverse data from multiple applications including FileMaker, and cloud-based applications such as SalesForce.com. 3/09 — Corporate Network Services revamps Federal FileMaker user group by opening the group to all users and developers in the Washington, DC area. The new group is called DC FileMaker and the first meeting is May 6 at NIH in Rockville. Visit www.dcfilemaker.com to join the group and register.
3/09 — Corporate Network Services becomes a reseller for BlackBerry, allowing customers one-stop shopping for all their mobile workforce needs.
3/09 — Corporate Network Services certified FileMaker developer, Charles Melton, travels to Honduras to train users on a patient management database we developed for CURE.
1/09 — The Washington Business Journal names Corporate Network Services as the 9th largest IT training company in the Washington Metro area, as ranked by enrollment in 2008. This is the company’s 6th time on the list.
1/09 — Corporate Network Services becomes an accredited Managed Service Provider by the International Association of Managed Service Providers.
12/08 — Microsoft renews Corporate Network Services as a Gold Partner for 2009 after customers send positive remarks in response to Microsoft’s survey request.
11/08 — The Corporate Network Services’ PROSuite Support Centre announces the capability to provide PROSuite coverage for Macintosh computers, including the ability to streamline many back-end processes like inventory and remote control.
11/08 — Join Corporate Network Services and Microsoft for a free seminar, “Do Less With More: Make Over Your IT Department” on December 2 at the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce in Rockville, MD
